Audition Guidelines for Old Skies!

Hello! Thank you for considering auditioning for Old Skies, our upcoming time travel adventure game! If you are interested in learning more about what kind of game this is, please check out the Old Skies page on Steam.

We are currently looking for the following voicetypes:

1 – Asian female, mid-60s.
2 – Black female, mid-60s
3 – Black female, young 20s

Deadline is Monday, March 4th.

If you fit the bill, please read these guidelines before submitting:

• Audition for as many roles as you want!
• This is a non-union gig.
• The rate is $250 per hour, with a two hour minimum.
• It’s American accents only.
• We are going to prioritize POC actors for the POC roles. So please choose accordingly.
• Send all files as MP3 attachments. Each character gets its own MP3.
• Please do not zip the files, or use a transfer service like wetransfer.
• Label your MP3 files with “character’s name – your name” ( i.e., “Indiana Jones – Harrison Ford”).
• Email subject should please read “Audition – your name”.
• The recording sessions will be held remotely over Zoom, so please record your audition from the same microphone/setup as you will for the final recording.
• If the above is not possible (e.g., you are travelling/on tour/etc), please attach a sample of something recorded from your usual setup.
• We will start recording around March/April-ish.

If you are not cast, you will not hear back from us. Please don’t let this discourage you from auditioning for us again in the future!
