Quick question: did you turn on the smashers while playing as Azriel in the previous scene?

It sounds like to be a pretty rare bug caused by a timer that gets hit very intermittently. Do you have a saved game from the previous scene with Azriel? If so, try turning off the smashers with him and then going into the next scene.

Let me know if that works.

Wait...there's a part with Az and the smashers?

Yeah, at the very end of the game, you can get Az to walk into the room with the smashers...

Hi again,

I'm running Windows 7, 32bit. Intel GMA 950, 3gb ram, intel core duo (not core 2). I don't believe I took any special steps to get this bug, this part of the game is pretty linear. I don't believe I turned on the smashers, but I honestly can't remember. I don't have a save between the autosave I get when waking up in the cell and the final test right before the escape from Center 7 I played the entire game in basically one run.

I think the only way to get past that bug is the way I mentioned before, sorry! Otherwise, try to get a saved game from someone else or wait for an updated version.

It's works (the workaround). I loaded a saved games and this time turned ON the smashers and this time no bug. Thanks.

Oh what. My last named save was a little bit before getting into apartment 2A. Has there been a remedy to this yet, or is the only solution to use someone else's savegame? I'm halfway to considering this memory wipe incidence to just be the real ending to the game, albeit in a rather Kubrickian vein.

i have the same problem at room 73.asc line 230
the savegame linked here doesnt work (404 error)

aand.. what smashers are you talking about? when az and the two girls try to escape, and az goes first to stop the two smashers? or which scene?

i have a waay back savegame from that, so if anyone could give me a working savegame before this room73 error it would be appreciated.
