Any possibility of Steam release ? 

I have most of my games there, it's nice to have it all just in one place

Steam is something we're definitely going to do.  We think it's got a good shot, although they rejected the Blackwell games due to its low resolution so we are treading carefully.  We want to have all the press and stats lined up in a proper pitch before we submit it to them.  So cross your fingers.

Or do what CheekyBoinc said and support us directly.

I hope that a possible "steam support" will not lead into some kind of DRM for your games in general. Cause thats one reason i bought the game

I wish this kind of thought got more attention.  It's a shame in my opinion that all these indie games (which are DRM free 90% of the time) are bought on Steam when they could be bought directly, giving the creators 100% of the profit.

Blackwell not getting picked up by Steam is ridiculous. That series is possibly one of the best adventure series games ever.

If you want to release your games to an digital store client, i would suggest you "Desura" (see about section)
Its driven by an Australian games company (which also runs the IndieDB and ModDB) and the focus are Indie Games and Mod support. Also a developer told me that Desura will get a Linux version too.
Its a beautiful client, a great community and driven by game developers.

Only a suggestion. I prefer to buy the games directly from the developers. To get rid of Starforce, Securom and other trojan horses i buy games like "Mass Effect" on Steam, yes. But a simple key check or DRM free games? Come on.

More and more games are using the "Steamworks" development and publishing suite and thats a shame. They are forcing me to use Steam :/ But thats off topic, sorry

Jep thats also an alternative. Stardock has a good drm concept. I like it
But for people from europe its not the best choice. They have bad pricing restrictions that prevent many games or sales to appear for europe. Anyway, i bought GalCiv I & II from Impulse.

Personally I'd suggest good old games as they have a fantastic drm-free policy and anti region pricing attitude. They already sell many adventure games like the gk and other classic Sierra series.

I actually like having a few "offline" games that I can play.  I recently had a problem with Steam where I couldn't log in.  As a result, I had to play all my games in "offline mode" even though I could access the internet!  Having the game on Steam would be nice though, as it was the first place I looked, before finding out about GR on MetaCritic and then ordering it directly from this site.
