stuck on belt/gears/oil

Hello,

I'm stuck trying to get into Factor.  I have the cleaned gears and have the belt.  It doesn't let you put the belt in and doesn't say much other than it doesn't go there.  I already sent Oswald away once and didn't get the oil, I've searched for hints and I understand there's another way to get what I assume is oil/lubricant for the belt, but gosh I can't figure it out.  I thought I read something about the bar (clarity is in my party) but can't seem to do anything with that either.  Thanks  in advance for your help!  Nice game btw.

Try giving the gears directly to the robot arm bartender.  Alternatively, the "rust-eating submersibles" near Primer can clean them.

Try giving the gears directly to the robot arm bartender.  Alternatively, the "rust-eating submersibles" near Primer can clean them.

Your right Clarity will then demand the robot at the bar with the arm to oil the gears (make sure you do it for both small & large gears)
