What I find odd is that she didn't seem to recognise Durkin, given that he and her mother were colleagues.

There's approximately 38000 police officers in New York City, they can't all know each other. There was nothing to indicate that Durkin and Kendra's mother were ever at the same precinct, so it is reasonable that she doesn't know him.

Vicki knowing all those other cops and security types far from Staten Island, however...

More oddities:
- The antagonist seduced Art Eddings, regardless of which sex you chose. Art being married to a woman suggests that he is heterosexual, so it comes a bit out of left field that a male could easily seduce him. Was it the original plan to have the male seduce Jess instead?

If you tell the General to take Harrison with him, she shoots herself in the head, only the screen fades to black, we hear a gunshot and splash, and when it fades in again she is gone from the boat. The game didn't shy away from showing gore and violence in other scenes, so what was the reason for the censorship? Simply too difficult to animate properly?

Honestly? Everything we tried looked cartoony and dumb. She could only fall forward and she looked like a cardboard cutout no matter how many times Ben tweaked it. So I just settled for the cut to black.

The player character looks the exact same regardless of origin.  He or she doesn't even modify their outfit over the course of an entire year. Presumably this was done to save effort on sprites, but it still seems strange.

Washing machines also exist!

Fair enough, though the outlines in the photo are the same in both cases and the figure on top seems more feminine in shape.

Well, the way the General moves is also cartoony and dumb, and the people on the boat are standing impassively, not swaying in the slightest with the motion of the boat. I understand that there are engine limitations and such, but a cardboard cutout falling forward wouldn't exactly look out of place in that scene.

Well, she won't rotate 360° but i see that the scene of shooting herself can be shown as The Blackwell Epiphany with Lia Pierro and also, she can jump from the boat like Rosangella did in Blackwell Deception...But it doesn't matter now...The game is released and nothing can be changed.Exept,if Mr.Dave Gilbert wants to do an update for it. (THIS WILL BE AWESOME

I just find it funny how there's one subject about how the game is too adult, and here's one demanding detailed depiction of suicide xD

Blackwell Epiphany had Lia Pierro shooting herself in the head on-screen, so it did seem odd that they censored a similar scene in Unavowed. Also, the event in Epiphany does look like a cardboard cutout falling over, so it could hardly have been worse in the newer game.

Edit: corrected name

You basically answered the question yourself.

You mean Lia Pierro.
