Not a scene from the game. Just a stand-alone cartoon we made. The game should be out on June 30th.

Great. It has been a long wait. That was a very cute cartoon. I enjoyed watching it. J.

As a beta tester, I can confirm that the game will be worth the wait!

June 30 ... I will be looking for it ... hmm, that does mean this year, doesn't it? I quite enjoyed the "On the Town" cartoon.

I'm going to bump this thread up for commenting on the 2nd short.
It didn't even occur to me how similar Quantum Leap is to Blackwell. A short, smart-alec making wisecracks to someone only the hero can see and has a tendancy to walk through walls, and a hero who deals with people who are already dead. :p
Two things I noticed, though: one, you only used shows that are cancelled or otherwise finished. I presume this was intentional. Two, you have very little animation for an animation short. I assume it's due to limited skill in... whatever's being used to animate, but it's very skillfully done so it's barely noticable.
Actually, I now have one question: which Friend did Joey almost see?

Limited animation was due to a limited budget. The cancelled/rerun shows was intentional, I think. I didn't write the shorts (Davy Stedham did). He said he wanted to include shows that he was sure everybody knew about. As for the Quantum Leap connection, I was a big fan of the show back in the day and I guess that's apparent! They are kind of similar, although Joey doesn't have Al's fashion sense. There are several moments in the games which I refer to as "Quantum Leap moments." They are fun to write.

Are there going to be any more cartoon shorts. I know there are 2 already. Is 3 the magic number?
