Finally!

Hi Dave and all,

I've just started the game (and I do hope I don't run into the bug Andrew explained elsewhere, or is that inevitable??) and am SO happy about it, thanks to all who made it possible! so many pleasant details already, like the Walk speed option, or the busts in the university (I, too, love clicking around and it's SO funny then to see that the developers already thought of this or that idea, too, and give you a cheeky answer)  :D

I have a few questions:
On the start page I see a vertical line moving into the screen from the right; is that intentional or just here?

and more for the future:
The credits scroll a bit fast to read them. OK, so I'm slow and prolly the only one who tries that anyway  :P, but something clickable maybe... I'd like to influence that.

One thing I really do not like is when I can't choose in the installation process where a game is installed on my HD. I'm not so computer savvy to drag it around and risk that it doesn't work anymore afterwards. Maybe you could give that as feedback/suggestion to the PlayFirst ppl if it had to be directed at them?

So, nothing major - so far <g> - so thanks again and back to the game!  :)

Hi DD!  I'm glad you like/liked the game!

Yep, it's intentional.  It's supposed to be an "old film" effect.

This is the case with all of PF's games, unfortunately.  It's very much a "casual" standard.  A lot of the installation is automated and they don't give many options because they want to keep it as simple as possible.  The installation allows you to make a desktop shortcut, though, and you can put that where-ever you want.

Hi Dave,

I liked the game, am through w/o problems now, and I'm sure I'll play it again.

Yep, it's intentional.  It's supposed to be an "old film" effect.
Oh I see - of course! I was so worried about possible errors that I didn't 'see' this. <lol>

PF's standard then. I've seen other game providers add a path statement to their installation routine, too, so there's hope.

Thanks again  :)
