I just bought Shardlight and began to play it. Many things about it seem quite good and I hope to enjoy it.
I want to thank you for preventing me from adjusting the levels of the music, the background noises, and the voices.
Your choice to minimize convenience for players puzzles me. It's been a while since I last dealt with tailoring the experience of a Wadjet Eye game, but I do seem to recall a larger set of options which were useful. I find Shardlight's minimalist approach to configuration, particularly in relation to audio, a needless annoyance. I really can't imagine what you gained from it, so there's nothing to weigh against the absence of a a convenience.
