Where is this robot located in the game?

Hello there. Searching for concept art and screenshots of the game, I came across this picture:

Now my memory of Primordia isn't even all that foggy yet, but I can't recall where this character appears, or if it even does. I skimmed through a let's play but I didn't see it anywhere. It would be very helpful if someone could let me know who the robot is and where/when/if it appears anywhere in the game. : )

Since this probably strikes you as an odd thing to ask, I am creating a Primordia-inspired project, and was especially interested in this one, but it is a bit of an issue that I can't recall who it is or what it does in the game.

I don't believe that robot ever appears. It looks like some early concept art by Vic.

It was an early concept for MetroMind.  You can see some elements of that character folded into the Greeter who takes the Gospel from you and the court reporter in Arbiter's courtroom.  Ultimately, we thought this design, while really cool, had a few distracting elements (the Noh-Face from Spirited Way mask, too anthropomorphic for an AI focused on progressing past man).  I have some vague recollection that behind that curtain might have been some human brains or something, at some point I had toyed with that idea for MetroMind, but we discarded it.
