Just wanted to ask if anyone has bought and tried The Slaughter: Act One. If so, let me know your thoughts on it!

I haven't played it myself but I've met the dev a few times. A nice guy! The game seems nice, too.

Yes, that's a nice game! Rather similar to Wadjet Eye Games, but it is short as it is only Episode One.

I played through it and, although it doesn't come to the quality of other adventure games I've played, I think it is really entertaining, and it has a nice storyline. Would be better if it had voice acting, but it's not bad.

It's the first act of a trilogy, so it's pretty short, though. Takes two or three hours to complete. Looking forward to playing the second!

I played it, enjoyed it, and look forward to the rest of it!

I was especially impressed with the attention to detail in things like particle effects and the zooming in/out of scenes and title card cuts. Very cinematic.
