problem with the keyboard layout on Debian

hello everybody, i'm loving this game so far!

but i'm stuck i'm at the mainframe, trying to enter some commands, i need the "/" symbol to insert "/PASSRESET". The problem is that, in order to do it on my keyboard (italian layout), i must press the combination shift+7, and the game doesn't recognize it. I tried to change the keyboard layout on my system to US but the game doesnt seem to care...

This is a really late reply, I-m sorry... I`m italian too and I had the same problem, but switching to an US layout keyboard solved it...maybe you weren`t pressing the right key?
