Stuck on forklift

Hello!

I'm currently playing Resonance and I've got a problem: After Ray took the device out of the pipe, I can't get him only halfward downwards and then he's stuck. I switched the lever to the green position and the forklift goes down, but when I switch it to the lowest position, it won't do anything (there are no motor sounds either).
What can I do?

i hope you figured it out, sorry that no one has responded. i haven't played this game in awhile, to answer your question, if i get around to it ill try and figure out what went wrong.
