« on: October 27, 2006, 12:08:36 AM »
Hi, I plan on preordering "The Blackwell Legacy" it looks to be very fun. But I wanted to ask what softwarre you are useing to make this game. I love click and point advetures and have always wanted to make one myself, i'm even going to college to learn how to make video games. I have download and looked for software on countless occations but have never found one I thought was any good. Hope i'm allowed to post here, and I hope after the games relise more people do aswell. :o

Of course you're allowed to post here.  That's what the forums are for. :-D

The software I'm using is called Adventure Game Studio, or AGS for short.  It's an engine designed to help create point-and-click adventure games.  It was authored by a man named Chris Jones and you can read more about it at http://www.bigbluecup.com

Additionally, you can see it being demonstrated it on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWJ6BN4wokI.

Cheers,

-Dave
