Weather Tower Help

Can someone please help?  I emailed wadjet eye games about this, but have received no reply.  I am trying to connect the the extension chord to the other chord, and I have done the way you are supposed to.  I have read walkthrough's and watched videos, and yet it still does not work.  Is it a glitch?  I can't finish the game. Thanks!

Hi Antistar. Apologies if you didn't receive a reply from us. We are a team of two people and sometimes the email gets on top of us!

Could I ask which version of the game you are playing? e.g. which platform?

I'm playing on a PC, windows 7. I downloaded it from GoG.
