[SPOILER] Oswalds Oil Bug?

Hi,
is it a bug that i cannot take Oswalds oil from the bar after i send him away (i said him i found Rex or something similar)?
If i try i get the message that it is Oswalds oil, but i read somewhere that i can take it if i send him away. If i leave the screen and come back, i is not willing to leave anymore.

Yes, this does happen, but it is not a bug. There are several other places to get oil if you miss the opportunity to get Oswald's.

But are you sure i missed the opportunity here? Iam not talking about the situation when he comes back, then i have cleary missed the opportunity but iam talking about the situation when he is still gone and the oil is left alone on the bar, should not i be able to take it then?

Put another way: There are at least two other non-oil ways to accomplish the task that the oil would have been used for.

Hi Sergio,

It's not a bug.  Horatio is pretty respectful of private property, so before he'll be willing to take Oswald's oil, he has to have some good reason to do so.  The robotic bartender will supply that reason if you interact with him.  That said, Oswald only leaves once, so if you've already tricked him into leaving and he's come back, you'll have to forget about the oil.  It's not necessary for winning.  As Dave notes, there are two alternatives you can use when the time comes.
