Shivah iPad issue

Well, so the game freezes at the very beginning, when you just get into your apartments and the guy from the opening scene knocks. He says that the cop came and then happens nothing: I can still see the picture but it just doesn't go any further.
I'm playing on iOS 7 iPad Air if it can help

This might seem like a Stupid question, but did you try pressing on one of the dialog options at the bottom of the screen? That's the only reason why I could think it would freeze right at that moment.

Yeah, I think the dialogue should go on, but for me it just stops with nothing happening

I've never been able to reproduce this issue! What device/iOS version are you playing on?
