Inventory Bug
« on: December 24, 2013, 04:07:53 PM »
I'm playing Gemini Rue on Linux and I found a bug that has been reported on this forum before on another game: the inventory is too small to hold all my objects and I can't progress.

**SPOILERS**

It's when I need to get the Juice to the Boryokudan and the guy dropped the photo, which I picked up, but I can't see it, since I already had 8 items.

My items are: gun, communicator, newspaper, mafia ID card, Med, Lock pick fixing tool, lock picks, Centre 7 folder. The photo is the 9th item, not displayed, and I can't put it in the terminal to scan.

Thanks!

Hi! Apologies for the delay. Holiday times and all.

There is an arrow that allows you to scroll through more inventory items, if there are too many to fit in the window. Did you find that? Or did you try that and it does not work?

Ha! You're absolutely right! I haven't seen it because it wasn't there before, and when I looked for it on your forum, I just assumed. Silly me. ;) Anyway, I finished the game on Android, that wasn't too far away to re-do everything.

Regarding the game, I believe this is the first adventure game that I played that can compete with Monkey Island 2 and Indy Atlantis in graphics quality, strong story line and fun. Beautiful scenes, strong characters, the plot unravels amazingly well, I was quite surprised in the end.

The low resolution adds a lot of nostalgia and magic to the whole experience, and to be honest, that's what put me off most newer adventure games, same reason why films still use old media (or simulate them) to make it look more "authentic".

Thanks for making such an amazing game!
