Windows 8.1 Tablets
« on: December 26, 2013, 10:26:44 PM »
Hey,

I just bought a Dell Venue 8 Pro and would love to run gemini rue. I know the android and ios versions have been modified to support touch controls. Is there any way we could have a Windows (32bit not rt) that can also use touch? I would love to play, but the gun fights and the moving of boxes would probably prevent me from getting very far, not to mention the lock pick puzzle.

Thanks!

Hm. It is difficult to port to everything, but that should, theoretically, be simple to do. Theoretically. :) we'll look into it!

I second this. I am playing Gemini Rue on HP ElitePad using freeware Touch Mouse Pointer to simulate mouse cursor, but I need to plug the mouse first, run the game and then unplug it.
Is there any way to disable mouse check? (It would be sufficient for me).

If you go into accessibility settings on windows, enable mouse keys. After that, your games will think a mouse is plugged in. Just be careful tho because if you have other windows 8 pcs it syncs that setting to them as well.
