Dialogue Bug/Glitch on Mac

Hello, I purchased this game through Steam recently, however, whenever I play it there is a weird bug where the Dialogue moves wayyyy to fast to read and it all sounds like gibberish alien voices (maybe the voice sound is part of the game though?) Pretty hard to play the game like that since I can't read what anyone is saying. Anyone have a solution?

I am playing on Mac OSX 10.8.2, 2.7ghz Intel Core i5, 16GBRAM, in fullscreen mode.

Are you activating the Steam overlay when this happens? AGS games tend to act unpredictably when the  overlay is turned on, but the "dialog moving too fast" thing is usually what happens.

I am not shift-tab'ing or alt-tab'ing at any point, if that is what you mean. I just launch the game from steam, and then start a new game, and then the bug happens. Is there some way to launch the game without Steam to avoid this bug?

Huh! Your best bet is to contact the humble guys at support@humblebundle.com. They made the port, and are best equipped to handle any tech support questions you might have.  After the holiday I am going to ask them for a list of common tech issues and their solutions and post them on the FAQ page!
