Problem with steam version
« on: November 30, 2013, 03:37:47 AM »
Get the opening music, first two lines of the opening, then AGS error, in "Achievements.asc", line 286 from Achievement.asc", line 431 from "room1.asc", line 95.
Error: Filereadint:file readback in wrong order.

Makes it unplayable, installed many times, deleted everything.

Hi Proxas.  Apologies, we totally missed this post. I am not sure what you mean by "Private Tell" - do you mean a private message on this forum? Sadly, we never got one. It is always best to email us directly (admin@wadjeteyegames.com) If you do so, we will be happy to send you a non-Steam version.

That's alright? the error i get is this.

"An error has occured. Please contact the game author for support, as this is likely to be a scripting error and not a bug in AGS. (ACI version 3.21.1115)
in "Achievements.asc", line 286
from "Achievements.asc", line 431
from "room1.asc", line 95

Error: FileReadInt: File readback in wrong order"

Anyone else get this? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and doing a flush config on steam. Anyone else got ideas or had this one?

I'd really like to finish the game on steam, I like to keep my achievement completion % up and this one is killing me lol

I literally just figured it out if you go to:

C:\Users\"your Cpu name"\Saved Games\Shivah

and delete everything it fixes it.

You lose your saves but it runs again!
