Getting closer...

I just coded the very last puzzle of the game. Still a ton of art to add and polishing to do, but hey - you can play through the whole thing!

Yay! Long time lurker, first time poster, and...it's sort of embarrassing just how much I love these games. Even more embarrassing still just how much I'm looking forward to the new installment.  :D

Thanks for the update!

I'm so excited. I've decided to play through all four Blackwell games again - this time with the commentary turned on. Just finished playing through Legacy and really enjoyed listening to some of the commentary. And it's funny, the points where Dave points out that most people got stuck - the leash and the roommate - are exactly where I got stuck. So yay! That makes me the average adventure gamer!
It's a surreal feeling, but my first novel is now available to buy at Amazon. Go look for The City of Smoke & Mirrors by Nick Piers.

Heh. That "5 Years Later" commentary was fun to write, even if was basically just me rambling about everything I did wrong. :D

Been doing a mech ton of voice over recording this week. It's been so long since I've done it that I feel a bit out of practice!

Here's two little dialog samples:

Rosa and Joey

Rosa and Durkin

Out of curiosity, how close are we to seeing the finished product available to buy? I seem to recall the plan was Fall of this year, but of course, game development always has setbacks.

Our setback was our baby, who was born in May! I originally estimated Fall, but that was before we had a baby and moved house four times (with the baby!). So now I'm guesstimating... February/March? When I know for sure when it will be done, I will definitely let the whole internet know. :D

Congrats on the new baby! Less excitement about the whole moving house four times with said baby (how you didn't lose your mind is beyond me)...

It probably doesn't bode well for Rosa, but I'm happy to hear what sounds like Durkin cashing in on that favor. Thanks for the clips!

By the way, since you're closing the series... which kind of game do you expect to make afterwards?

Thanks for the dialogs, they were great! I'm sorry this is the last of the Blackwell series. I've totally enjoyed the previous ones. They're a "must buy" for me! Thanks for the release time frame. I'll be waiting! Thanks for giving out Steam keys. I'm all ready for the Pre-Order!

So... Epiphany will be the last game in the series?

Dave Gilbert's been quoted in interviews and on social media saying Epiphany will be the last, yes.

I've got a birthday coming up Feb 18th, any chance I can buy myself a copy as a gift for myself by then?
