Some questions regarding Primordia/WEG
« on: April 05, 2013, 02:32:56 PM »
Hi there,
first of all: Hats of to all the people involved in making Primordia, I didn't have that much fun with an adventure game in years. The multiple solutions to puzzzles and the different endings especially transform an already very entertaining game into a truly great one.

Now that I'm done with my second walkthrough however, there are a few questions left:

1) It was mentioned somewhere that the soundtrack would be available for people who bought the game through this site. However, I did not receive any download link and I could not find one anywhere on this website. Did I get something wrong?

2) Is the information kiosk completely fixed right now? I don't care about the achievement, but it seems I missed a word (entered every suggestion from various forums in both modes) or something.

3) Can I trade in the Steam key for a GOG key? I don't have a Steam account and I don't plan on ever registering one.

4) Does WEG plan to ever work with Daedalic Entertainment again? I own almost every Daedalic adventure game and naturally also bought Gemini Rue (I heard from WEG before, I just like retail versions way better than digital ones). I know it sounds ridiculous to US customers but the retail PC market is still very strong in Germany , even for adventure games. Which brings me to 5):

5) PLEASE think about extending your DVD case offers. I'd sacrifice my newborn son for the WEG collection but since I don't have one, my wallet will have to do.

Glad you enjoyed the game, and thanks for your kind words!

Dave or someone at WEG can probably answer your questions better than I can.  As far as I know, the soundtrack was bundled only through GOG.  It can be purchased directly from the composer for $5, I believe.  The kiosk should be totally fixed.  I think the reason why WEG can't run the DVD offers indefinitely is that they do it all in-house (literally, in Dave's home), and it would be too much of a pain for it to go on forever without closure.

Thanks again!

The DVDs are selfmade? The short supply is understandable, then. Oh, and godspeed with your new game!

They're made by someone else, but then Dave and Janet physically stuff them into envelopes, address them, tote them down to the post office, etc.
