Possible game breaking bug(no I'm just stupid)

So, I was stuck for some time at some point not really far in the game, after try EVERYTHING on EVERYTHING for hours I realize I needed help, I watched a walkthrough on youtube and found out that I was missing the crystal/cable/plug after having already used it on the interface on the UNNIIC, it was not in my inventory and not attached to the interface anymore, so I could not combine it with the cpu/monitor as I saw in the walkthrough! I seem to remember that I detached it from the interface and then combined it only with the cpu, from that I got the cpu/monitor but the crystal/cable/plug was gone.

Starting the game again, as I guess there is no solution for that!

If you connected the crystal/cable/plug with the cpu, you should have a "sensor + cpu" in your inventory, which Horatio hovewer incorrectly names "a cpu and a monitor" when examined, even though the monitor is yet to be connected.

LOL you might be right! I'll have a look after work, I should still have the savefile... But yeah, he is saying "it's a cpu and a monitor", I guess that's what confused me!!!
Restaring the game was fun anyway so I could do a bunch of things in a different way!
