Seems like the game has issues with the in-game Steam interface. When I was answering a friend that wrote me over steam the game got all silent. Finding this out in the middle of a scene was unfortunate because I hadn't saved for a long time. Clicking on stuff usually didn't give me anything more than the subtitles appearing briefly and the first syllable of the sentence, if anything. Reloading or restarting the game fixed that issue, but it happened again when I opened the Steam interface in-game. So I'm thinking some skip button gets stuck when accessing the Steam interface.

On another note, is anything interesting or important said when entering the courthouse for the first time?
I missed out on the whole scene because of this. All I got was Horatio walking up to the stand, Arbiter sparking a bit and Crispin flying over to look at the reporter (is that the name?). This all lasted for some... 20-30 seconds.

EDIT: Now in a situation like this it would've been great to have a couple extra autosaves to switch between, just to be able to go further back and ensure you didn't miss anything.
