Thank you for a nice game!

I came across a review of this at gamer.no, a norwegian website. I have always loved the good old Lucas Arts games and this came looked true to its "legacy". :) The game is really well written, with nice graphics and voice acting. The puzzles are also good, although the game feels a bit short.

Still, I think its lovely to see that there is still a commercial quality to these kinds of games - actually to the point that I have been thinking of getting a group of people and make my own. :)

Hi John,

The length is the common complaint about the game.  Rest assured, the followup is shaping up to be much longer.

Thanks for the feedback, though!  I'm glad you liked the game regardless.

Well ... I've now finished the game for the 2nd time. I actually "won" this time ... it's fun to have a game like this that you can get right to the end and still "lose" the game (so to speak). It's good to hear that "Convergence" is turning out to be longer. You've created an excellent game, that's for sure ... great game play and I love the dialog.

Thank you very much ... all of you!

Well, not win or lose per se.  More of a "good ending" or "not as good ending."

The differences between the two endings are small, but it depends on:

If you manage to save the Deacon or not.

Hiya!

Bought the game yesterday, and couldn't stop playing..lol
I like this game and it is better than Shivah!

Playing the game is like reading a good novel, except you can "play" the story!
Now I just have to wait for the next episode..btw, is the deacon contest still on?

Best Regards

Hi McChin!  Glad you liked the game.  Yep, the Deacon Contest is still on. Nobody has guessed who he is yet.

(for those who haven't listened to the commentary, the Deacon actually existed.  There is an obscure, real-world reference to him)

Just finished Blackwell Legacy today and totally enjoyed it. It was what I call a "real adventure game" from start to finish. I would really be a happy camper, uh, gamer, if only more games were like it. I get bored with so many of the new games with all their bells and whistles and panning around cameras, and fight scenes that add nothing to the story or the fun of the adventure.
Trogan made an interesting post about 2 endings to Blackwell Legacy. Since I was left with an unused piece of inventory picked up in that last scene, I wondered about another ending being possible if I had managed to use it. So now I will try that ending again!
Just putting in my 25 cents worth, inflation you know.

I felt the same way when I was playing the demos for the first two games and then bought them and played through those almost non-stop. Part of me regrets it, but it's a good regret. :P
