Dialogue skipping

Hi all, Really enjoying the game, however I've noticed a rather unfortunate tendency every now and then to rapidly skip through lines of dialogue. (similar to if you clicked through it all but much faster)

It's happened a couple of times for me, anyone else had this? really annoying as it happened during a cut scene (don't want to say where in case of spoilers) and now i'm not sure what i have to do since i guess it would be obvious if i could have watched the cut scene.

I think I'm experiencing the same issue, and it seems to be happening as a result of shift+tabbing in Steam.  What's worked for me is to just alt+tab out of the game entirely and then back in (or quit and reload, but that obviously takes longer).  Hope that helps.

Yep, just had this in the beginning, I tend to shift-tab to the overlay whenever I get an achievement to see what it was (In this case the very first 'Knotcutter' one).
Cheers on the alt tab workaround fix.

(If memory Serves I believe either Resonance, or one of the Blackwell games had similar steam overlay issues  )

Yes, unfortunately the AGS engine and the Steam overlay don't get along. On some computers - I've been told - if you press the tab key by itself it magically fixes the problem.
