Just finished the demo
« on: November 25, 2012, 05:11:20 PM »
I just finished playing the demo and I got to say it was amazing. I couldn't of guessed that a bleak environment could make a great point and click game. Crispin and Horatio are hilarious together. I'm so looking forward to the 5th.

Btw Do you save gamma? I just broke the screen

Yep, you can save Gamma! Did you build a mobile energy sensor? That will help you save him.

Lol just did it.

I kind of  saved him. I am guessing that chip is used in the full game.

I'm currently stuck. The robot by the bomb wants to know my name, I've tried all 4 choices and none work. I bet I'm missing something obvious right? Loved it up to now. Really bugging me.

Go visit another location.  You'll get a new name soon enough!

If you don't have any other locations to visit, try using the telescope some more.

The giant robot is your next stop.  Where do things stand there?

Did you find the rag in the engineering room? It flies away if you click on it.

If so, look for it in the tailwing room (the room that Horatio woke up in).

Once you have it, try making it sticky using the puddle of oil.

Regarding the dome, you can't get there in the demo.

Not sure what stage of the game you're at.  If you're talking about the very beginning, you just click on the open hatch on the floor, then click on the hatch on the right side of the room, then do the same in the next room.

If you're talking about after the power goes out, you'll need to get the power restarted.

I just finished the demo as well, and b'sod was it outstanding.  :P  Just one more week!  I am wondering about something from the demo though...

Yep, you can save Gamma! Did you build a mobile energy sensor? That will help you save him.

There seem to be two states that you can end up in here:

One in which you "kill" Gamma by using the torch on the monitor he is currently in, and Alpha and Beta will only say "RUINED" to you, and you do not get the Decoder from Goliath.

The other in which you trap Gamma, all three of the little robots die, and you get the Decoder from Goliath.

Since the item in question is not used in the demo, I'm wondering if this decision affects the game in any significant way, or if you simply get the item later on?
