Hi DAve,

I ordered the DVD edition, and 21% TAX was added. Does that make sense?

Also, when can we expect the download code? :)
thanks!

You definitely should not have been charged for VAT. Email me and I'll forward you to the guys at BMT Micro who can reimburse you.

Wooo!  Congrats to Wormwood & Dave and Janet on the release!

Just a side note that I'm averaging ~150k/sec from the BMT Micro file download (tried all three links)..   That is an "old-school" download speed!  Is Steam coming shortly/worth the wait? :P

Now that the game is released here, on GOG and on Steam, are there new information about the availability (or not) of GOG redeem code for the ones whom purchased here?

Yes, sending the Steam keys ASAP would be appropriate as the bmtmicro servers are overloaded.

My download is almost finished (Yay!). Will the game be able to continue where I left off in the demo when it installs? If not, it'll just be fun starting over. :)

Edit: Found my answer, thanks. :) I just thought of Steam and I'll have to start over there, so maybe I'll just wait until tomorrow, and play around with the demo more for today.

Thanks for the info Dave about the availability of the BOXED version! I've just placed an order for it. It will suit well between the AGS section on my shelf, along with 'Al Emmo And The Lost Dutchman's Mine' and 'The Adventures Of Fatman Special Edition'! :) To me games that were made by fans and other small teams mean much more than best seller titles of large companies.

Just so you are aware, it's not an actual box this time. Like it says on the website, it's a DVD in a hard snapcase. We discovered in making the boxes for Resonance that they were wayyyy too difficult, time consuming, and expensive to make. So we're going back to the snapcase version.

Is there any chance of having Wadjet Eye games for Mac OS X in the future? I'm sure you'd have a good fanbase on Mac as well!
AGS games run on all platforms that support the AGS engine. For example, I've played all WE games so far exclusively on Linux, which works just as well as playing them on Windows (I wish Linux would be "officially" supported though). I think there is a port of the AGS engine for Mac as well. I don't own a Mac so I'm not quite up to par with the development status of a possible port. It could be quite outdated.

Thanks for the info Dave. At least now I won't be surprised when the package arrives. :) However if you could upload the box's art and measurements it would be great! That way fans who bought the game (like me...) could print it on hard paper of some sort and make the box by themselves. I'd love to make one and I might also upload the final result to the FAN STUFF section if you'll make it true. Having the box's art and measurements could be a nice option to have with all your digital copies as well. Think about it - So basically buyers could even create the game box of 'The Shivah' and other old stuff of yours that are no longer available on hard copies. So what do you think Dave?

Oh and by the way: Primordia ROCKS! I've just finished the game! Recommended to everyone! :)

Hi there,

I'm not that familiar with Macs but I did worked with some. Very little though. According to my experience and if you don't want to have Windows as multiboot alongside your OSX, you could always purchase a license of Windows and install it virtually. Even an old Windows XP will do (whatever is cheapest). You might find it on eBay as Microsoft offers only Windows 8 by now... That way you could enjoy AGS and all the games that were created with it, and of course many other benefits of Windows based stuff... :) However I'm not sure if OSX offers any free emulator for virtualization. But if not you could always purchase Parallels. I've checked it out for you and Parallels version 8 costs $49.99. Hope this helps.
