Bigger Ressolution for Tablet Users
« on: October 12, 2012, 11:45:50 AM »
I just try to start Resonance with my x61t Tablet PC from Lenovo. But its not Possible to play becouse of the ressolution. The Game only runs in 640x480 what makes the usability of the Digitizer Pan impossible. Is there a way to play it in Tablet Mode??

If you run the winsetup file, you can change the graphics filter to run at higher resolutions (2x nearest neighbor filter, 3x near neighbor filter, etc). I'm not sure how that effects tablets, though.

None of the Filters are working with the Intel x3100 with an 4:3 Ratio.

But in Window Mode it works.

I have some problem with an old laptop. I think problem originated from greyed out "force alternate letterbox resolution" option.

In Gemini Rue i cant play fullscreen at 1280x960 and 960x720 but i can play at 1280x800 and 960x600 with unchecked "force alternate letterbox resolution"

Your monitor/lcd-screen have to support the resolution the fullscreen game starts in. In fullscreen-mode your monitor change its resolution while in windowed-mode resolution stays the same, only window size changes. Almost every one supports 640x480 but 960x720 is a tricky one. You can try to "force alternate letterbox resolution" to match a resolution you monitor supports but there is no workaround if your monitor capabilities are limited.

Well, some drivers let you customize your monitor resolutions list so you can add one (but not higher than maximum) but I strongly advise you not to do so since you can damage your monitor this way.

Thanks for the info, I will apply it on my tablet when I will play games and do some app on it.
