Game does not work..please help

Just bought the game on steam. When the game launches it goes to the "resonance" title screen and freezes with not responding in task manager.

Im on windows 7 64. Has anyone had this problem?

Hi Dragor. Have you tried running the winsetup.exe file (located in the game's folder) and switching from Direct3D to DirectDraw? That usually helps fix this problem.

I experienced the same problem after purchasing Resonance from Steam - the game will freeze and hang up at the main screen after starting.

I read about your solution of going to the game's folder and running the winsetup.exe file, then changing the setting from Direct3D to DirectDraw.

However, I can't seem to find the game folder on my computer.

I would like to ask what is the name of the Resonance game folder and where it is usually located.

Is it placed under Program Files?

Otherwise, how do I search and find the game folder on my computer?

Hi Advgamer! I assume you are the same person who just emailed me with the same question, but in case you aren't - Steam usually keeps its files in: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common
