I've written about this in another thread, so I'll just copy/paste:

So, we've gotten lots of requests/offers to translate our games lately. Here's the "official" word on the subject.
About a year ago we got an offer from a big adventure game distributor in Germany to translate Gemini Rue. They were going to translate the text, all the voiceover, the works. The game was our runaway best seller, so it seemed like the most logical step to make. Anyway, this company did an excellent, professional job. They licensed the game out to other territories to translate and sell. Within a few short months, the game was available in three different languages, in the countries which are known for loving adventure games.
Sadly, it barely earned us a dime.
As a result, we are going to hold off doing any translation for the time being. If our biggest seller couldn't generate any money when localized into different territories, then it doesn't seem worth our time, effort and money to translate anything else. So while we appreciate all your offers, we will have to decline. Sorry about that.
