Aspect Ratio

I'm playing Resonance on a 1920x1080 LCD monitor, and the game is stretched out horizontally. There is a checkbox in setup that says "Side borders on widescreen monitors", but when I check that box, it puts borders not only on the sides but also the top and bottom of the monitor so the game is still stretched out. Am I stuck playing the game in a window if I want to play at the correct aspect ratio?

That setting is so temperamental. There should be a setting on your computer to automatically adjust your screen to 4:3 width if it needs to, but it's always different on every computer so I'm not sure where it would be on yours. Sorry about that. This is one of those AGS-isms that has constantly plagued us.

Thanks, Dave. I got it to work by going into the NVIDIA control panel and setting it to perform scaling on the GPU instead of the display.
