Japanese dialog
« on: June 21, 2012, 06:10:18 PM »
Being a casual otaku (assuming that's not an oxymoron), I appreciated the few words of Japanese provided courtesy of Reno, the mystery woman. I found that I could understand most of what she said (as the vocabulary is pretty simple) but there is one line I couldn't understand.

For those curious, here is a translation of her lines. They are spoiler-free, seeing as I am leaving out the context, and they are short sentences at that:

konnichiwa: Greetings (specifically, good afternoon)
Chotto matteokudasai: Wait a moment, please
Yamero: Stop; knock it off

The line I didn't understand was her last line, something like "hadashi wa XXX". I can't remember exactly, since I didn't write it down when I was playing through. If anyone remembers the line, and knows the translation, please let me know. I'm curious what she's saying.

I'm not sure what the Japanase words are, but when I wrote the dialog I had Reno say "I warned you" at one point. Vince translated all the stuff into Japanese later. :)

She says "hanashi wa koko made da". Literally "the convesation goes this far" or less literal, "This conversation is over."
