possible bug report? (spoilers inside)

1) If you choose to blackmail Tortoise, or choose to open the safe box without the sonograph, you are not actually required to pick up the sonograph at the hospital morgue. Later in the game though, when getting the key from the locker, you can use the magnet on the locker and are able to move it, but you won't actually see where the key is. You can not return to the morgue at that point.

Is this puzzle actually programmed so that the key can be magnetted out of the locker blindly? Or is the possibility of solving it only triggers once both the sonograph and the magnet are applied? I've been trying to solve it without the sonograph for some time, but failed to do so, and I don't think I can hear the key falling to the bottom of the locker, or any other sound that can guide me.

2) One minor thing is that the empty pill bottle can be picked up from the floor, even if Ozzy hasn't dropped it yet. It's not drawn, but the item exists there, and once you click on it, the character picks it up. Later, when Ozzy drops his bottle, you can actually have two identical bottles in your inventory.

3) Another even more minor thing is that when staring through the bars of the vault door (where you need to get the fuse), the "Back" button is actually labeled "Release" (as in the previous room, where "release" meant to release the switches.)

Sorry if those are not bugs, I just thought I might be helpful if they are.

How do you blackmail Tortoise anyway? I used the safe box route.

anyone know how to get the Hippocrates achievement also?

Very well, since this is a spoiler thread anyway.
But are you certain you can't figure it out?

Tortoise is fond of the untainted reputation of his security system.

The medication you use has to be less hazardous.

Great attention to detail Einherjer!!

No 1:
In the scenario you describe, the "sonograph" can be picked up in the "tech room" and thus will be available for the key puzzle.

Jesus, you are so very right.

What's most embarrassing, I kept clicking on the "Tools" section of the "Tech room" for the characters to search for the sonograph there, while it was lying in plain sight on the desk. So much for that "good attention".

OK, I am just glad this isn't a bug, and it's elegantly fit into the surroundings. Thank you for clearing that out.

 :) np.

And to answer your question: Yes, I just checked it, it is possible to retrieve the key "blindly" without using the x-ray device.

Hippocrates is the father of medicine, and the achievement is for preserving Anna's integrity. Is there some way you can get Ozzy's bribe without giving him actual pills?

Ugh, can't confirm this, as my key is already at the bottom of the locker at my current savepoint, and even with knowledge of its position and the approximate path of the magnet, it is still quite tricky to get it past the narrow spot near the padlock without knowing whether it dropped or not. But again, it's good to hear that it's possible. Very logical.

BTW, once utilized on the locker, the sonograph mysteriously reappears on the desk of the tech room, and can be taken again. Oh, well.
