Pre-ordering problem from GOG.com
« on: June 18, 2012, 02:55:45 AM »
My Debit card does not work because gog.com is based in Europe and I'm in America using a Visa Debit card. There seems to be no other way to get a copy of this game other than through the much more expensive CD. Please make this available for digital download somewhere else please, preferably on steam.

Have you tried using paypal? GoG does accept paypal. You can select the option through the dropdown menu. With a paypal account, one could enact a bank transfer directly to your paypal account and send money from there.

Alternatively, you can call your bank and badger them to let the transaction through. It's your money and thus your right.

Hopefully, this helps a bit till someone from support comes to your aid.

Another possibility:

Right now, GoG is exclusively handling all the digital orders. If you want the boxed disc version (which includes a Steam key as well), then buy it from here. Once the game is launched, you can buy it from me directly again (and get a steam key!).

From the "Ronance Info?"- thread...

I just checked my bank debit card and my GOG account and I can confirm that I used my debit card for my Resonance buy. I live in the US.

Tried using Paypal and I had to upload all this personal information to them in documents, which I don't have right now. Tried contacting VISA but I don't have an account with them, just a debit card that was a gift. Will this game be available on steam with just the download alone?

Alright, thanks. Around what time will it be up on steam? Will it be on at midnight?
