It seems like they're not going to even sell them any more. I wonder if this will allow Dave to buy back (or at least licence?) Emerald City Confidential so he can sell it DRM-free here?

They notified me of this several months ago. I did ask them. They said no.

Gahhh! If they don't want to sell it any more, I don't understand why they even want it... Oh well, I don't think I'll ever understand business.

It's still available on 3rd party distributors like Steam, so they'll get money from that, but they won't be selling it directly anymore.

It is a bit of a shame. I've even asked them if they'd be OK with me doing a Steam bundle sale but they weren't interested.

Unfortunately, due to differing opinions (between me and PlayFirst) on the acceptability of DRM, I haven't found anywhere that sells Emerald City Confidential in a way that I like. =(

That's why I was hoping this change might allow you to sell it yourself.

It's on Steam as well. It's still DRM, but a DRM that most gamers tend to not mind so much.

Oh, I'm aware of it being on Steam and I'm aware of Steam but I really dislike online activation.

On a lighter note, I'm looking forward to Primordia!
