Awesome to hear. :) You can read about it on the developers page at http://www.xiigames.com/resonance, but we will definitely put some info up on this site soon. :)

Just read the e-mail about this. Will this be considered an affiliate game, or marketed as a Wadjet Eye game?

It's definitely a Wadjet Eye Game. It's a publishing deal like Puzzle Bots and Gemini Rue, not an affiliate deal like Fatman or To The Moon.

When did Wadjet Eye first get involved in this project? I remember first learning about it on the xii blog months ago, and it definitely seems like an interesting idea. Especially if using the 4 heroes is done well. Also, hurray for the newsletter announcing its nearing release!

Hi!
I just heard Resonance will be released on Steam. Do we still get a no-DRM version?

Congratulations on getting a deal with GOG.com! WadjetEye's games are already quite popular with the GOG community, this will get them even more attention. :)

Now the question is whether to pre-order Resonance on GOG.com or buy it directly from here ... I guess in order to support WadjetEye, the latter is preferable, but it will it be the same package here (including the soundtrack) and will the price be the same ($9.99)?

Right now, GoG is exclusively handling all the digital orders. If you want the boxed disc version (which includes a Steam key as well), then buy it from here. Once the game is launched, you can buy it from me directly again (and get a steam key!).

Yes, but I meant once it's released. Boxes and steam keys don't hold much interest for me, I'm mainly interested in the DRM-free download and the soundtrack. The reason I'm asking is that I initially planned to get the game from your website after the release, but the package I'd get from GOG is tempting, too. And there had been some issues with a previous indie pre-order from GOG (Botanicula from Amanita games) where people who pre-ordered were surprised to find an even better offer on release day and felt kind of cheated. So I just wanted to check if the pre-order from GOG is worth it (or, in case it's the same as the package you're going to sell here, if it would make you happier to get paid directly ;) ).

Then again I don't mind waiting and comparing the offers from GOG.com and WadjetEye after release, I'd be willing to pay the extra dollar for that. ;)
