To the Moon - Horse Riding memory links - tip need!

Eva has knocked Neil of his horse & has been left to collect the memory link(s). I'm not sure what to do or - I have tried to chase River - is that what I need to do? Help please!!! - I've been galloping around for ages now.

I just want to say while I'm here what a novel, interesting story & the music's beautiful!

Hi chrissie, glad you're enjoying it so far! In that memory, I think you need to do the following:

-Chase down (bump) River
-Chase down John
-Chase down Dr. Watts
-Ride to the far <--- side of the map

After that, you should have all the memory links -- head back to --> side of the map where there is a tent-like structure, and Dr. Watts should be waiting a few steps south of there. In front of him is a purse, which is the memento for that memory.

Thank you Reives for the reply. Sadly I'm going to have to give up - I've caught up with River a few times but nothing happens. Unless anyone can send me a save game I can't move on.

I think there's a way to jump off the horse so you can collect the purse?  I remember having trouble with this section, too.

Hi Dave, thank you for your reply! Neil has already been knocked off his horse & is waiting in the shelter on the far right - there's a purse in front of him. He told Eva that she would have to collect the memory link(s). I'll have another go but I'm getting so frustrated with it!     

I've just tried again from an earlier save, Neil has the purse & Eva has collected all of the memory links - she just needs to get off the horse now?

No problem! I got there in the end!

I got stuck at the same part for half an hour.  I figured out you need to face the purse as close as you can (I came in from the left) and hit space to activate it.  Just in case anyone else gets stuck too...

Thanks for a beautiful game; it's really different to what I had expected but I'm really enjoying it.
