[Error] Game has changed (dlg), unable to restore

Hi guys, I bought the Indie Royale Bundle just to play Gemini Rue and started to play through (very impressed, by the way). With the release of Steam keys I've tried to port over my saves from the stand-alone Gemini Rue to the Steam version but I'm met with this message (Error: Restore_Game: Game has changed (dlg), unable to restore), what do I have to change within the save file in order to make it work? Or will I have to play through again? If it's the latter I don't mind at all.

Also well done on creating such a fantastic game and having such a great ethic. I hope (know) you guys will go far if you maintain your depth of attitude and games.

Hey Delta Six!

Unfortunately, the savegames are no longer compatible with the Steam version.  The reasons are kinda technical, but it has to do with the engine that is used to make it.  If you change the game too much between versions (which we did to create the Steam version) then the savefile games become incompatible. 

So, sorry about that.

That's fine, I just finished it then and I'm looking forward to my future playthrough with dev commentary. Thanks for such a quite reply and thanks again for making a great game.
