Unavowed / The game does not work on my system.

I have a Windows 10 PC. When I downloaded Unavowed from Humble Bundle, the game would not start and I got an error message saying that it was unable to find the specified path. Than I  tried redeeming the Steam key and downloaded it on Steam. But than it wouldn't load and I just got a black screen. I had to open task manager in order to close it. I even had to restart my computer since even after I closed Steam, my computer kept taking forever to load even the simplest thing. After restarting my computer, everything went back to normal, but I still couldn't load the game. The game still will not work.

EDIT: I was able to get the game working. The problem was that my security system was blocking it since it had an unknown publisher.

I chose to kill both Tiberius and Danton, since it seemed like both of them would rule with an iron fist. I was right, since even Danton would have been a mass murderer.

If you get the key to Madison apartment before talking to Penelope for a second time, the dialog option to ask about the key doesn't come up. Can you give me a saved game file right before the 2nd talk with Penelope?

I played the entire game but couldn't access the characters past memories. Did I do something wrong? I want to find out who they were before there memory got erased.

Does anyone know where i can get a timed trial for Blackwell Unbound other then the ones from Big Fish Games, Play First, or iwin?
