Temporarily set your keyboard to QWERTY in your system preferences, I would say.

I must admit the resolution of this puzzle wasn't obvious. I only found it because I asked myself "well, what haven't I tried yet?". But it feels a bit wonky.

Thank you! Yes, I meant the golf tee.

The server (waiter) gives you a hint.

A Golden Wake / Questions
« on: October 10, 2014, 05:13:32 AM »
Ok, so two questions:
- Alfie stopped wearing a hat after the first chapter, right?
- Is there anything to do with the club stick?

I've just seen Grace Church for real, it's actually quite peaceful (and beautiful too)!

Hmm, I've found Epiphany decent, but too serious : too many dramatic chords are struck quite unsubtly, and not enough witty banter (although some exchanges did bring a welcome smile - and so did Rosa's jumping).
The supernatural stuff is of course wonky, as in previous installments, and it's always the atmosphere and the dialogues which do things for me. But I've found some pieces of dialogue to be weak and annoying in Epiphany (I'd have to play again to give examples).

I'm also glad Dave decided to put an end to the story, since it's obvious now it was losing a lot of steam. I think I like Deception much better.

Are there still bohemians in West Village? :)

And for the record it also works with wine.

I've just played the demo too (after having pre-ordered, since I hadn't noticed there was a demo at once), it's great and whets my appetite. Now I just have to wait for November the 21st...

Mmmh, is there any possibility to set the page background to a lighter colour, at least for the forum? I dislike dark background on Web pages quite intensely, especially when reading text  :)

(at least, I mean, is there a way for users to set a different forum theme? I haven't found any)

By the way, since you're closing the series... which kind of game do you expect to make afterwards?

Primordia / Re: Thank you..

Indeed, thank you for a great game!
At first (during the demo, roughly) it looked like a standard point-and-click adventure, but the plot became deeper and deeper as the protagonist unveiled different, contradicting reports of the past. There is no obvious truth to choose, only different narratives, and it makes the story compelling. I liked the irony of robots having distorted, idealized creeds about mankind; it reminds of common theological quandaries (if God is perfect, how could he build an imperfect world and malevolent creatures?).
The kiosk is a great idea, I loved rummaging the archives.

I can say that the Primordia demo definitely works well with Wine 1.4.1 under Linux (no idea about OS X).

Ah, right. Ok, nothing unexpected there.
