I'm sure happy to learn that Blackwell isn't a trilogy! I don't wanna say goodby forever to Joey and Rosa. Now I can dream of yet another game in the series. Whenever.

Hi Rognik,
Well, yes, I meant Ken Williams, of course. How could I have been so careless? I don't know where Ted came from, maybe baseball?

Hi Linda S,
Tales of Bingwood, Chapter One: To Save a Princess is a really neat game with a surprising ending that makes one eager for Chapter Two!
And after playing it, also eager for The Blackwell Convergence, that's a for sure!

June 30 ... I will be looking for it ... hmm, that does mean this year, doesn't it?
I quite enjoyed the "On the Town" cartoon.

Hi LindaS,
I think Sierra's King Quest IX strayed a bit from a "pure adventure" and added some action genre scenes, I'm not sure though. Something happened to it and I don't know if it was even finished. Anyway, I never played it.
I remember feeling way back then that Ted and Roberta Williams were losing interest in Sierra Online and then they sold it, which didn't come as much of a surprise to me.

Emerald City Confidential / Re: Emerald City Confidential update, please?

Yessireebob, I'm also waiting for this game!  I'm thinking of activating an account at PlayFirst so I will be able to get it right away and not wait for it to reach my usual account at another place.

Reply? How can I when I'm totally speechless! After looking at those great screenshots all I can think is: Awesome! Terrific! and Wow!

The Shivah / Re: Shivah sequel

I'm getting all mixed up here. I  posted a reply, then got a message saying another post had been made while I was typing and did I want to add to mine? Not really, but now I can't find mine so I guess I need to retype it, or will that result in 2 posts, maybe? Anyway, here goes:
Ah, what was it...oh yes...I would be very happy to play another Rabbi Stone game. I'm still waiting for Blackwell Convergence, of course. I'm also interested in casual games so I will be looking out for that game too.

I got an email today about a new game in the works that sounds more than cool. I looked at the screenshot for The Shiver and it looks like a good game, but on the other hand today is April Fools Day, so is this for real, or not? With two other projects to work on, a third might be stretching things too thin, I'm thinking.

This is very interesting, even exciting, news and I'm looking forward to whatever comes next. I have recently become a Casual Game player and the idea that Wadjet Eye Games (aka David Gilbert) will be making a third-person, point-and-click *traditional* adventure game sounds just great to me. True, I am sorry that The Blackwell Convergence will be delayed but considering what is happening, I can understand why and that will give me the patience to wait. Actually, I now have two games to look forward to! How great is that?

That was a hilarious blooper about getting organized, but I'm sure that Rebecca will get it right in the end. In the meantime, it's funny.  :)

The Blackwell series / Re: The Blackwell Convergence

It is slow for me, too, but worth hanging in there! Although there were moments when I thought I was no longer connected. But now that I know that it isn't only me, I will be even more patient since I won't be worried that I goofed or something.

The Blackwell series / Re: Character portraits

I guess I'm easy to please because I'm happy either way, with or without, and I liked seeing those 2 screenshots and can't wait to see more.
"Coming soon" is the best news yet!

So, it is a lighthouse and that's good because I thought it looked like a lighthouse, but I couldn't tie it to a New York City landmark. I guess I was handicapped since my hometown was Chicago so what do I know about the Big Apple!

The Blackwell series / Re: Joey Mallone...
« on: November 10, 2007, 09:26:49 PM »
Hmm, I don't seem to be all that curious about Joey. I just like him exactly the way he is so whatever made him that way is okay with me, I reckon. Anything more I learn about him will be okay too. He sort of reminds me of Bogey when he became a leading man, not in his early gangster roles.

Oh yeah, I had Joey ask Lauren to do that jumping on one foot just to see what would happen. It was funny, but then I went back to asking Lauren to do the knocking thing. I seem to recall there were more of these silly type things to ask  but I didn't go there. No use making Lauren get mad at Joey and maybe refusing to knock. Was I being over cautious maybe? Or just in a hurry!
