Gemini Rue / iPad 2, iOs 7.0.3 character interaction bug;

Playing on iPad 2, iOs 7.0.3 - when asking other characters to do something with the HAND icon, if they CANNOT interact with the selected object, the dialog box pops up and disappears instantly before it can be read.

Any workarounds, or fixes in the works?
