Those are great. I especially love Rosa's theme. Does Joey have his own leitmotif?

I like 'em, though I've got to agree with steven that at first I was kinda surprised at the difference from Convergence.

All in all though I believe you made the right choice in sacrificing the character res for better backgrounds. After your post on how you were considering scaling down production values I was preparing myself for the disappearance of all those lovely New York setpieces, so I'm glad that they look as nice as they do. Also your use of character portraits, (which I see are still fantastic) makes the look of the characters themselves less of an issue.

Though I've gotta say Rosa's new sprite makes her look a whole lot dorkier than she did in Convergence.  ;D

The Blackwell series / Re: Questions/plotholes

Will Rosa ever meet other mediums in the series aside from the crazy lady?

This is a really cool idea, it would be great to have Rosa and Joey bump into other spirit/medium pairs, if only to see how they deal with each other and with their situation. Do they all eventually become embittered cynics like Lauren, or do some of them view their role as a moral/religious duty?

I also hope we eventually get a more in-depth explaination on how a medium's powers work, for example is the "node space" inside a medium's head slightly different depending on the medium? Rosa's and Lauren's seem to be a bit different design-wise (though this might just be because of artstyle changes).

Will there be a love interest for Rosa?
I'd actually be a bit disappointed if Rosa got a love interest. I love the buddy cop-like dynamic between Rosa and Joey and since any romantic relationship would have to be pretty central to the story it might interfere with the time spent with the main characters. Plus Joey would probably upstage any male romantic interest anyways.  ;)

The Blackwell series / Re: Question for the fans!

I love this series and I can wholeheartedly say that I will buy any Blackwell game you put out, with or without Convergence's upgraded graphics. However I'm saying this as a current fan of the series. I only discovered the series a short time ago, when I saw a few screenshots of Convergence. I now know that the series is awesome because of the engrossing story and characters, but what caught my attention were the upgraded graphics. I think the best bet would be to strike some kind of balance between sacrificing production values for increased development time/value, but in the end I (and apparently most of the other thread contributers) will be happy as long as future Blackwell games are on par with the rest of the series in terms of quality.
