Shardlight / Re: Warning on Shardlight Page

They had malware on their site before pre launch, don't know if that's still an issue.

Ah, well that's not good.  And now through Google, I see that Wadjet Eye games mentioned being aware of a "false positive" problem with the site in a Feb 25th Facebook entry.

Darn, I guess I was wrong.   Still, you have to admit, the guy sounds an awful lot like "Cryaotic" of the Cry Plays vids.

Shardlight / Voice Acting Question
« on: March 10, 2016, 08:33:06 PM »
I just started the game and am already enjoying it (despite being only three screens in).  But I couldn't help but notice a similarity between the voice of the guy that got crushed under the rubble and that of a certain popular Let's Player on Youtube.  Am I imagining things, or did I peg it correctly?

Shardlight / Warning on Shardlight Page
« on: March 10, 2016, 08:30:35 PM »
I brought this up on the main wadjet page in the comments, but thought it might get more notice here.  When I go to the official Shardlight page on the Wadjet site, my anti-virus software gives me a warning message asking if I actually want to open the page.  (I decline.)

Now, don't get me wrong.  This could be nothing, and I know that wadjet eye would never intentionally have anything wonky on their official site.  But still, if it's enough to scare me away, then it's probably going to scare other people off the game/site as well.

Is anyone else getting such a message?

The Blackwell series / Re: WHY?? [Spoilers for Epiphany]
« on: December 26, 2014, 08:59:20 PM »
I just wanted to bump this thread to say what a great post/review of Epiphany by angie.  I played the Blackwell series for the first time last week, and finished them all within several days.  Definitely among the best adventure game experiences I've ever had.

As a side note, I know when angie talked about how she envisioned Joey really loving Lauren it probably sounds like typical fangirl wishcasting.  But you know, I couldn't help notice the throwaway line when the Countess was in Lauren's apartment, and she told Lauren she was loved.  Lauren asked by who, but they just kind of let that one go unanswered.  I have a feeling the intent from Dave Gilbert was precisely what Angie was talking about.

I also kind of agree about the desire to see Joey hug Rosa at the end.  But I have a feeling that there was a limit to the animations/portraits the team could make due to time/budget.  Along those lines, I personally would've liked more of a variety of facial expressions for Rosa in general.  That really would've come in handy at the end of the game in front of the church if she could've had a pained facial expression for those last bits of dialogue rather than her standard "all purpose" look.
