Glad you liked it! I'd better make another one.

It might do! If possible, could you upload a save game from there as well?

Hello! I've not seen this one before, but I'll take a dig around in the guts of the game to see if I can identify the problem.

Just want to check, have you also allowed the grenade to count down without it being in the machinery? And if so, what happened to the drone?

Was wondering about the sequel "Johnny Hurricane and the Pirates of the Third Reich".

The answer on this one is "kind of", I'm just waiting for Nathan to finish the music before I get into testing full-scope. At the moment, it's mostly just a test of 3D assets in Unity, but it'll be a little game on Gamejolt.

I want and plan to make another Technobabylon game, but I want it to be done properly. As such, I want to fire off a couple of practice efforts to make sure I've gotten Unity right.

Rest assured I'd publish it if he wanted me to.

I'm gonna hold you to that!  ;D

We had been considering an option for a hi-res font that could be switched on in settings, but the difference in resolution was quite off-putting for people, unfortunately  :(

There are ideas bouncing around, and there are experiments, though I'm determined that when I do it, I'll do it properly rather than rushing it.

It'll come eventually, though!

Technobabylon / Re: Savegames overwritten by new ones

I think I remember seeing a similar issue arise a few years ago when an AGS game was creating save games in a folder that were read-only, possibly because it had come from Steam. This is the first time I've seen something like this happen, and it likely didn't arise in testing because we weren't using Steam in the test build, but my suggestions would have been a) right click on the save games folder, and check if the "Read Only" setting is ticked in properties, and if that didn't work then b) Exactly what you ended up doing anyway!

Glad you're enjoying it, I shall have to go and make some more!

Glad you enjoyed it! I know Ben put a lot of effort into that falling animation, I was delighted the first time I saw it. Completely nailed what I was aiming for.

Technobabylon / Re: Maximum Saves? Lost Saves
« on: May 01, 2016, 08:57:48 AM »
As I recall, there's a maximum number of saves that AGS games are able to show in its "Load Game" lists. So, I believe, your games were saved, but aren't showing up on the list because there are too many. I think that deleting the older saves will cause the newer ones to appear in the list when you close/open it again, though I can't say for certain.

It's quite a high number, something like fifty games, before this starts happening. If you've got a lot fewer than that, it might be that the Technobabylon program is no longer allowed to create new files, if user/admin permissions on your computer have changed. This can happen if, for example, you've recently upgraded from Windows 7/8 to Windows 10.

Hope that helps!

Not to worry, even I've done that before, and I made the puzzle!

The wetware should have been added at the beginning of the section. Try scrolling the mouse with the inventory bar open, and that might show it appearing on another "page", that sometimes happens.

The other way to get into the airlock is to go to CEL, use Regis' computer and download the picture of the lab team. Show that picture to Dr Chigwa, and she'll let you in to the airlock.

Technobabylon / Re: Technobabylon Mysteries *SPOILERS*

Well, it's tucked in amongst dialogue and background things here and there, so a lot of people won't have seen it the first time around!

Unsurprisingly, spoilers below.

Jinsil is in fact Nina Jeong, who (among her various connections) helps out the underground hacker/media group Jahiliyyah. She needed to get Latha out of CEL, so she made use of her Jahiliyyah role to facilitate this.

She also needed a connection into Galatea's secure systems on the airship, so by getting her to the Xanadu airfield, she was able to both convince Galatea that she was helping her, while also making the connection she needed through Latha's own systems.

Hope that helped!

I've got plans to, I've just got to figure out a way that'd make it look half decent as well.

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to turn off the written text. Most of the requests I get are usually the other way around though, but I'll keep your input in mind while I'm making the sequel!

I wrote it specifically with avoiding-spoilers in mind, so if you read it first, you won't ruin the game. After is probably better though, as it might elaborate on things you've seen in-game!
