The Blackwell series / Re: Getting closer...

By the way, since you're closing the series...
So... Epiphany will be the last game in the series?
Dave Gilbert's been quoted in interviews and on social media saying Epiphany will be the last, yes.

I don't know if there ever was a problem. I never submitted Puzzle Bots or Shivah to them before, so they never had a chance to reject it. :)
Gosh, you don't half reply quick, Mr Gilbert! That's... probably the problem, then ;)

I edited my post with an additional question, but I'll repeat it as it's kinda on-topic. Will the new OST be available at some point too?

You can take it as a given that everything we do in the future will be on both Steam and GOG. If they DON'T decide to take something, you'll be sure to hear about it. :D
Is it perhaps the case that your 'problem', or part of it, is you sell titles below GOG's lowest price? GOG's pricing starts at $5.99 (the $4.99 price was a trial), which means to sell The Shivah: Kosher Edition and perhaps Puzzle Bots on GOG would require bumping the price up by at least $1? Obviously $1 isn't a big deal, but it does look strange to have a game at $5.99 on one store and $4.99 elsewhere. The only way around it I can think of would be a sort-of combo pack, with The Shivah, Puzzle Bots and something else in one package for, say, $10. But again that's not a perfect solution.

So is it safe to assume that one reason these titles might not be on GOG - aside from GOG perhaps rejecting them for now, which they've been known to do - is that you price below GOG's lowest boundary?

(Actually, may have spotted a flaw in my theory or a workaround. The Shivah: Kosher Edition + OST = $6 value at least, but generally OST inclusion is considered 'gratis')

Edit/P.S.: Talking of the OST, any plans to release the new one?

Huzzah! Great to hear, Dave! Really looking forward to Epiphany.

That's completely understandable. Chances are I probably wouldn't get the Steam version (GOG for me, unless you do a boxed version), but I would think that trading cards for Epiphany at least would be a great idea.

But hey. It's all in the future. :)

Did you notice anyone familiar in the bar? :)

(The Shivah was written before Blackwell, incidentally).

The Shivah / [Spoiler] Meaning of an easter egg

I came across this easter egg when doing my first complete run of The Shivah today:

(if the image goes down for whatever reason, it's the e-mail from a certain 'rblackwell' in Zelig's inbox)

And I just have to ask - does this mean that Blackwell and Shivah are, essentially, in the same 'universe', as in would it be possible for Rosangela and Rabbi Stone to meet?

Just to update - we are looking into these. Will update when we know what's what!
Apologies if bumping is a big no-no, but I'd just thought I'd ask whether there's been more progress? I know Epiphany is coming along and taking up what time the little 'un isn't, and I think you'd be daft *not* to go with cards for Epiphany considering how successful the system has been, not to mention the extra income it generates.

I think if you did Primordia, Resonance and Gemini Rue in the run up to Epiphany, it would also provide a little marketing boost. Perhaps.
