Chit Chat! / Re: Linux versions

I'm also a Linux player and Gemini Rue / Resonance are working fine with native AGS.

Steam for Linux has already been released with quite a few games available. I have no idea what's the procedure to make a game available on Linux, but I suppose when someone adds Steam support on the AGS source code, most of the work is done.

Dave, is there any talk on this between you and Valve? Do you have any idea how this works? I'd love to get achievements on Linux.

Ok, finished the demo and pre-ordered on gog. Good job WEG guys, you're currently the best adventure game company, in my opinion. I know about all the fuss over Double Fine, even Tell Tale but really, fuss means nothing. Keep it up!!!!

In the first five minutes with the panel puzzle I thought "what a stupid annoying puzzle"; when I finished it I was like "what a cool and clever puzzle!!!!".

Resonance / [demo] Keyboard problem
« on: June 15, 2012, 12:43:20 AM »
Hi, I'm playing the demo on wine 1.5.6. So far it's running 100% perfect out-of-the-box, but I have a problem with my keyboard layout on the hospital terminal; I can't type a "/". The keyboard works normally on wine cmd, which I use to call the demo's executable file.

It could be a wine-only problem, but anyone else had anything similar? Any ideas on how to solve it? I'm one second away from pre-ordering, but I'd like to sort this out first. Even a "cheat" or something, just to input the lines that need a "/" would be fine.

Thank you!

EDIT: I hooked up an external keyboard and got past this. I guess I'll leave it here just for the record, in case someone else has this problem.
