The Blackwell series / Steam achievements not working?

Hi,

First all great games I finished Gemini Rue and it was awesome and now I am on the Blackwell Legacy but I have a issue with the Steam achievements.  The first achievement is "Hello Joey" where you meet your life partner.  Well I met Joey at the apartment then I go to the park and finish the sequence but I never get the achievement..am I missing something?  I tried this two times now..and no achievement help would be appreciated thanks.
