That cleared everything up, thanks very much!

Shardlight / Shardlight extras - Clarify please
« on: March 02, 2016, 05:46:41 PM »
I noticed that Shardlight comes with some extras if you purchase on GOG and I'm pretty sure the same extras are present in the Steam release:

- Soundtrack in MP3 format
- Video clips from the voiceover sessions
- Concept art (character portraits and propaganda posters)
- Desktop wallpapers
- Avatars

I'd like to know two things:

* Are these extras exclusive to the pre-order?

* Do we also get these extras when ordering directly from Wadjet Eye? If so, will they be hosted on Steam?

The Blackwell series / Re: Blackwell Epiphany demo

Dave, is there any chance that the demo's save will be compatible with the full release?

I assume that owners of the older, paid copy will have to rebuy the new version?

Not that I really mind, it looks like a full remake.

Primordia / Primordia will be released on Steam

Primorida's Greenlight has been approved!

I still don't understand why it had to go that way in the first place but at least everything worked out in the end.

Other Games / To The Moon on Steam
« on: September 03, 2012, 11:33:58 AM »
According to this, To The Moon will be released on Steam on September 7.  The developer even mentioned that he will be providing Steam keys to previous purchasers provided that they ask manually.  Will we be able to request a Steam key through Wadjet Eye or do we have to get in touch with someone else?

Most (all?) of the AGS games work just fine without Steam.  In lieu of an updated Indie Royale/Desura build, I bet you can just launch the game from the other computer's Steam folder.  <steam folder>\steamapps\common\gemini rue\reslists\Gemini Rue.exe

Chit Chat! / Re: Um....Why is Lauren so much more good looking than Rosa?

Lauren probably has the best voice actor in the series so it would be great to bring her back!

The Blackwell series / Re: Legacy remake - reproducible crash

This bug is still in the final release.

The Blackwell series / Blackwell Convergence music bug
« on: January 19, 2012, 08:57:27 PM »
I noticed that the main map music sometimes continues to play when you go to a connected area, overriding the default music.  It's a reproducible bug that only triggers when commentary mode is activated and only when a commentary track plays upon entering an area.

I didn't notice if this happens in the other games.

The Blackwell series / Re: Steam achievements not working?

Achievements are in, yeah.  Looks like it broke savegames though.

The Blackwell series / Legacy remake - reproducible crash
« on: December 14, 2011, 08:12:14 AM »
I found a reproducible crash in the Steam version of the Legacy remake (haven't tried the standalone release):

Open your notebook and click somewhere other than the notebook itself.

The crash doesn't appear to be tied to any particular area and I noticed it very shortly after going to the dorm for the first time.

In case it's important, I'm running Windows 7 64

An error has occurred.  Please contact the game author for support, as this is likely to be a scripting error and not a bug in AGS.  (ACI version 3.21.1115)

in "GlobalScript.asc", line 540

Error: Error running function 'btn_notes_Click':
Error: Script appears to be hung (a while loop ran 150001 times).  The problem may be in a calling function; check the call stack.

Gemini Rue / Re: Now available on Steam

Nice!  Exactly what I wanted to hear.  I'm really liking this company and I hope the extra exposure helps out.

I hope to see the Blackwell games up there too.

Congratulations to Wadget Eye on finally getting approved for a Steam release!  $10, temporarily on sale for $8.50: http://store.steampowered.com/app/80310/

...is there any chance of a Steam key for previous owners?
